on My hero is my sister Mai. She is so generous, kind and caring, even when she is sad or angry. She never raises her voice at me and when something is not ideal she finds always a way to doge it. She’s a good storyteller, comedian and adviser. She always asks politely if she wants something and she does everything you ask her to do if you ask politely.
P.S Don’t tell my sister Bubs that Mai’s my favourite sister.
on In term 4 wk 2, we’re going on camp to Wainui and going to do; coasting, archery, canoeing and high roping. The week after that I’m going to be an aunty because my sister Mai if going give birth to a baby girl called Marley on the 27 of Oct. 3 days after Mai’s birthday!
on last week we did some baking on Tuesday and cooking on Thursday. On Tuesday we were divided into pairs. I went with my BFF, Manawa, we baked carrot cake cupcakes. We encountered a little problem when Mrs. Campbell forgot to take the cream cheese out of her fridge and take it to school. We managed to dodge the problem and did buttercream instead. On Thursday we made nachos. When we had to cut the onions everyone started crying, our eyes felt like they were on fire.
on Once upon a time, there was a penguin, who lived in the north pole with his best friend, Snow. Together they went fishing all day long in the icy cold water. One day when they were fishing they came across a strange-looking fish, it sat there motionless as if it was frozen. The polar bear named Snow became very excited when he saw the strange-looking fish. He wanted to eat it straight away. So he gobbled it up. Little did he know it was a piece of rubber. A few days later, he was covered in striped fur.
on I would like to visit Japan. I would be delighted to go skiing on the peaks of Japans, eat delicious sushi, buy a gorgeous kimono, lots of shopping, and set my eyes on the beautiful blossoming cherry blossom trees. I think I would have to stay there for a solid month.
on In the holidays we spent 10 days skiing at Treble Cone. The snow was really good at the saddle but it took 30 mins to get on the saddle and it took 20 mins to get to the top of the saddle so I didn’t bother waiting that long so I got to ski in the really bad snow.
on The thing that I most enjoyed and proud of this term is my water collage because it looks like a real painted water drop. The thing I have most in proved on this term is my maths because now I understand how to convert fractions into decimals and percentages. The only thing I think I need to improve on is my current event quiz because my highest score was only 15/20😥.

on I’ve learned what is a more detailed water cycle; condensation and infiltration. We made a terrarium and a cloud in a jar and I also learned what photosynthesis is.
